HOW TO GET HERE 

If you are arriving from Fano and the coast:
Come off the Adriatic motorway A14 at FANO and go in the direction of ROMA – AREZZO along the motor road SS3. Continue in the direction ROMA after the town of Fossombrone where the road divides and leave the motor road SS3 after the tunnel at FURLO – Santuario del Pelingo. Turn right at the first crossroads in the direction of PELINGO, and then turn left immediately towards the Santuario del Pelingo (Pelingo sanctuary).

If you are coming from inland:
From GUBBIO or CITTA’ DI CASTELLO, follow the directions to FANO along the motor road SS3 and come off the road at FURLO (before the tunnel), turn left at the first crossroads on to the old Roman Flaminia Road and then you can turn either right in the direction of the Santuario del Pelingo or left in the direction of Furlo. If you turn right, after about 200 m (after the Gipsy restaurant) turn right again and follow for about half a kilometre to the Pelingo Sanctuary. If you turn left, follow the road for about half a kilometre and take a road on the left indicating PIETRALATA, Santuario del Pelingo, where you will arrive at the sanctuary after about 800 m.

From the sanctuary:
... Take the secondary road to the right of the church and follow for about 2.5 km until you come to a sharp turn and on the right you find a barrier closing a white road. Open the barrier, enter, and close it again. Continue for about 1.5 km on the white road – and you’re there!
