Il Conio is part of a very ancient small village situated high above the valley of the Candigliano River boasting a magnificent view of the mountains of Carpegna, Nerone, Petrano and Catria.
The original house has been restored as it was and has been divided into three completely separate apartments. Guests can enjoy the restful quietness of the area and discover its natural beauty walking along the various paths or exploring on mountain bikes.
The house is on Mount Pietralata, which is part of the State Natural Wildlife Reserve of the Furlo Gully between the Apennines and the Adriatic Coast.

The Furlo Gorge (Gola del Furlo) is itself an extraordinary monument to nature. Its imposing rocky faces, looking down on the Candigliano River, house many protected, nearly extinct birds, such as the golden eagle, peregrine falcon, eagle owl and the “picchio muraiolo” (“wall” woodpecker), to the joy of bird lovers. Walking the paths which take you to the top of the mountain it is not rare to meet squirrels and deer.
We are sure that your stay here will be unforgettable!
